Fluid bed dryer or fluidized bed dryer is extensively used in pharmaceutical industries to extract moisture out of pharmaceutical powders and granules. A fluid bed dryer works on the principle of fluidization of the materials. In this process, the hot air or gas is passed through the bottom of a perforated container which contains the material to be dried. The high pressure gas moves upwards through the spaces between the particles. The velocity of the gas is increased until the upward drag force on the particles becomes equal to the gravitational force beneath. As a result, the particles are lifted from the bottom and get suspended into the air. This state is known as the fluidized state. We supply our Fluid bed dryer to both Indian and international clients.
In Fluid bed processor, Hot air is passed at high pressure through perforated bottom of container containing particles to be dried, agglomerated or coating. The Particles are lifted from the bottom and suspended in air stream. This condition is called fluidized state. With the help of spray nozzles granulating liquid or coating solution is sprayed to produces granules or coating of particles respectively and then dried with hot air.
